All-Comic’s You Should Be Reading is the weekly list of comics we can’t wait to get our hands on. Each of our writers picks their most-anticipated comic for the upcoming week and sums up why it needs to be on your radar. Get your comic shop on the phone – here’s what you should be reading on July 3, 2019.

Red Sonja #6 by Mark Russell, Mirko Colak, Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou

Josh: Mark Russell and Mirko Colak’s work on this new run has been a total blast. This story interweaves tales from Sonja’s past that makes you feel like one of the Hyrkanian soldiers hearing and telling tales of her legends. Russell’s satirical sense of humor is a perfect fit for the series’ villain and Colak’s art, along with lettering from Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, bring the entire world to life. With a new arc beginning this week, it’s the perfect time to put Red Sonja on your pull list.

Uncanny X-Men #21 by Matthew Rosenberg, Salvador Larroca, Guru-eFX

Jeremy: While most x-fans are caught up in the Age of X-Man, the mutants considered “alive” are having a difficult time surviving. With Matthew Rosenberg putting the mutants through the ringer, it’s always a surprise to see who will be left standing. Issue 21 finally gives us the Scott and Emma reunion we’ve been waiting for and Salvador Larroca is turning back the clock with some of his best art work, too!

If that endoremsent hasn’t sold you on picking up Rosenberg’s Uncanny X-Men, be sure to check out Jeremy’s reviews of the previous issues here.
