Now that 2014 has wrapped up, it’s time to take a look at what we’re most looking forward to seeing from Valiant in 2015.

Amy’s 2015 wishlist

I am looking forward to reading the rest of The Valiant. I was very impressed by the first book and can’t wait to read more. Also very much anticipating Bloodshot Reborn, Divinity, and Imperium. 2015 is promising and looks to be a stellar year for Valiant readers.

Martin’s 2015 wishlist

There are so many great books coming out next year that it’s hard chose, but I’m most excited to explore the hidden corners of the Valiant universe with Ivar, Timewalker. There is no doubt in my mind that Fred Van Lente can steer that book into directions none of us thought possible. The same goes for Matt Kindt’s Divinity miniseries, which I’m sure will have some very long-lasting repercussions in the universe and, along with X-O, will allow us to explore the cosmic side of the Valiant universe. If there is one hope in my mind though, it’s that we see the return of Shadowman with the creative team and direction that character deserves.

Paul’s 2015 wishlist

Since Armor Hunters, there’s been a lot of flux in the titles Valiant is putting out. Archer & Armstrong, Bloodshot, and Harbinger have all ended. Those along with X-O are the core of Valiant to me. I’ve loved them all, but we’ve had a ton of one-shots and mini-series over the fall with only X-O and Unity as ongoings, and both of those just came off of a major event! We need more than two ongoing in the midst of nine monthly titles. There’s no sense of stability otherwise. It doesn’t bother me personally, because I’ll buy every title every month and I love just about all of it, but it doesn’t work that way with everybody.

In 2015, I’m looking forward to the return of Bloodshot in his own ongoing title. I’m looking forward to Imperium, which is the next step for Harbinger. I’m looking forward to Ninjak, which will be a new ongoing for an existing and established character. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited about literally every title in the Valiant Next lineup! But I hope that Valiant has recognized that change is good, but too much change can be unsettling and distracting from the quality of the product that is being produced. I’m also looking forward to the hopeful return of a certain shadowy character!

Scott’s 2015 wishlist

I love Bloodshot more than most people have a right to, so I’m really looking forward to reading Jeff Lemire’s take on the character in 2015. I don’t think it was a coincidence that the title was at its best when Bloodshot shared the book with the H.A.R.D. Corps, so I would like to see Lemire create a proper supporting cast (maybe by bringing back Kara Murphy?). That said, Lemire is a fantastic writer, and I have faith that he’ll do an excellent job.
