It’s time for another episode of All-Comic Presents: Manga Mavericks Presents: Manga Fights sponsored by Geoff Martin Art Sales (not really)! Operating in the same fashion as Screen Junkies’ Movie Fights, Manga Fights features passionate manga fans debating it out over manga-related several topics both intriguing and insane. With the Manga Mavericks as your hosts, intelligent conversations, heated arguments, and unintentional comedy is always sure to abound!

Continuing off our InuYasha 20th anniversary retrospective (well, we recorded this before that, actually), Manga Mavericks’ resident Rumic World expert LumRanmaYasha aka Sid faces off against sakuga guru and previous Manga Mavericks guest Josh Dunham on InuYasha-related topics! You’d think that Sid would have the home field advantage when it comes to Rumiko Takahashi, but Josh proves a formidable adversary, coming up with a cast for a prospective live-action adaption of the series that will make you wet with excitement! Will Sid be able to defeat Josh, or will he have to change his name to LumRanmaRinne? Find out as we go back down the well with nostalgia for a jam-packed two hours of InuYasha discussion!

Enjoy the show, and follow us on twitter at @sniperking323 and @lumranmayasha, and Josh Dunham at @Josh_Dunham! Our next Manga Fight will center on Toriko to commemorate the recent conclusion of the series, and will feature Maxy Barnard, host of the Shonen Jump-centric podcast Friendship! Effort! Victory! Maxy is one of the premier Shonen Jump podcasters and critics on the web, and Toriko is one of his all time favorite Shonen Jump manga, so we’re really excited to have him come on and discuss the series as well as what he thinks of the current state of Shonen Jump as a whole. We’ll be recording our Toriko Manga Fight with him early December and plan to release it on Monday, December 21st. If there are any Toriko-related debate topics you would like to see us duke it out over on the show, or other topics, series, or mangaka you want us to center a Manga Fight on, drop us a line in the comments below, or e-mail us at mangamavericks@gmail.com!
