All-Comic’s You Should Be Reading is the weekly list of comics we can’t wait to get our hands on. Each of our writers picks their most-anticipated comic for the upcoming week and sums up why it needs to be on your radar. Murder Falcon #8 by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer
Josh: Murder Falcon’s last seven issues have somehow hit every emotion I’ve ever had. DWJ’s art makes me feel like I’m watching deleted scenes from a kaiju/Dragon Ball crossover and Jake’s story has hit me harder than any of the monsters in this comic ever could. I couldn’t recommend any comic more highly than Murder Falcon (other than maybe Extremity) to anyone who loves big fights and big feelings.
War of the Realms: The New Agents of Atlas #1 by Greg Pak, Gang-Hyuk Lim and Billy Tan
Milo: The start of a brand new four issue mini-series that ties in with the ambitious War of the Realm event, New Agents of Atlas has an incredibly enticing premise, having recently had its retail orders doubled for free by Marvel. Greg Pak and Gang-Hyuk Lim have brought together a collection of under the radar characters and fan favourites – Amadeus Cho, Shang-Chi, Silk, Wave and more – to tell a story that will surely please fans who are up to date with War of the Realms or not.
X-Force #7 by Ed Brisson, Dylan Burnett, Damian Couceiro, Pepe Larraz and Jesus Aburtov
Jeremy: There is just something fun to seeing the original line up back together with X-Force. Ed Brisson has added the dynamic of young cable, which has added to the drama, but has been interesting for this core group. With Stryfe back in the fold, it feels like a forgotten trip to the 90’s. Mix in the moody art from Dylan Burnett and you have a must read book.
