On this episode of Manga Mavericks, its already time for a new batch of series from Weekly Shonen Jump, as Lum and Colton tackle the first few chapters of four all new titles! Including two from veteran authors Kentaro Yabuki (Black Cat, To Love Ru) and Ryuhei Tamura (Beelzebub)!! As per usual, the Mavericks discuss their feelings on the debut of each series, whether they’re slightly bored or even uncomfortable with Ayakashi Triangle and Hard-Boiled Cop & Dolphin, or they get a genuine laugh or two from both Magu-chan and Roboco! Afterwards, they check emails and list off some more cool things for listeners to check out in the Community Shout-Outs near the end! Enjoy!

About The Author Colton Solem

Colton is just your regular glasses wearing nerd residing in Saint Louis, Misery (that's a joke) who loves reading and collecting manga as a hobby and also records too many podcasts! He started off his podcasting escapades in 2013 when he created Life Lessons: The Gintama Manga Cast, which is dedicated to Gintama and its past English release of the manga. From there he became the co-host of shows such as the Manga Corner from Anime3000, Heavenly Kings, One Podcast Prevails and many more. Colton first discovered manga back in 2006 when he bought his first issue of Shonen Jump, and ever since then, his love and passion for manga took off from there! His favorite titles include One Piece, Eyeshield 21, My Hero Academia and much, much more. Oh yeah, guess he likes anime as well (but truth be told didn't know what it actually was until about 2007). Colton can be found frequenting sites such as MyAnimeList and Twitter under the handle of sniperking323.
