Hello listeners! Today you’re all my valentines, and I’m here to show my love by sharing one of our previously Patreon-exclusive podcasts with all you lovely people!

The results of our latest survey showed that many of our listeners REALLY liked our Spider-Verse episode of @ Movies with Vix where we really dived deep into the history of the characters that appeared in the film. We recorded several other @ Movies podcasts like that last year which we released as Patreon-exclusive episodes, and I thought that now that some time has passed we could share them on our public feed as well.

But what’s the occasion? Well, today isn’t just Valentine’s Day – it also happens to be the one year anniversary of Alita: Battle Angel’s theatrical premiere! So we’re celebrating by sharing the first half of our @Movies episode on the film, in which Vix and Ethan join us to go over the history of the film’s production and some key differences and themes between the manga and the movie. If you like what you hear, you can listen to our full podcast at patreon.com/mangamavericks, where we have almost a dozen other bonus podcasts waiting for you at our $5 tier, including other @ Movies reviews of Captain Marvel and Dragon Ball Super: Broly!

It’s a movie that happily rips out and shows you its heart with enthusiasm and glee, and we were flying so high after seeing the film that we could gone all the way to Zalem! So enjoy this special Patreon Peek at our @Movies review of Alita: Battle Angel!
