On June 8th, Viz Media will release the first volume of Kirby Manga Mania by Hirokazu Hikawa. Based on the iconic Kirby video game series, Kirby Manga Mania depicts the franchise’s beloved characters in the familiar medium of manga. This release is a best-of collection of the 25-volume manga Hoshi no Kirby: Dedede de Pupupu na Monogatari (Kirby of the Stars: The Story of Dedede Who Lives in Pupupu). Hirokazu Hikawa wasborn July 4, 1967, in Aichi Prefecture. He is best known for his manga adaptations of Bonk and Kirby. In 1987, he won an honorable mention for Kaisei!! Aozora Kyoushitsu (Beautiful Day! Outdoor Classroom) at the 14th Fujiko Fujio Awards
