Manga Mavericks Goes to Washington! We headed down to our nation’s capital to congregate with our fellow weebs at the one-and-only otaku convention, Otakon! Was making Otakon our first convention to attend since the pandemic began a wise decision? Was attending a convention while we’re still in a global pandemic a good idea to begin with? Probably not, but we went as press, and we’re obligated to talk about in another one of our signature overly long and needlessly meticulous convention podcasts that comes out a month after the convention is over baybee!!!

Con you believe it? Well, you Ota!!

About The Author Siddharth Gupta

Siddharth Gupta is an illustrator, animator, and writer based in Minnesota. An avid animation and comics fan since childhood, they've turned their passion towards being both a creator and a critic. They credit their love for both mediums to Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball, which has also defined their artistic and comedic sensibilities. Their favorite comics include The Adventures of Tintin by Herge, Bloom County by Berkeley Breathed, and pretty much anything and everything by Rumiko Takahashi.
