One of these days our convention report podcasts won’t take months after the con is over to come out. Today is not that day. But hey, Anime NYC kept us waiting too! After a pandemic-imposed hiatus, Anime NYC returned in 2021 with its highest-ever attendance… and longest lines. Was the wait worth it… or was it just more waiting? Has Anime NYC grown too big for the Javits Center to handle? Was it even a good idea to congregate fifty thousand anime nerds together during a global pandemic? Was Anime NYC a super event… or just a superspreader event? Lum and VLord are joined by their usual gang of friends – Sakaki, Jecka, and Marion – to answer the call to all these questions and discuss the highs and lows of Anime NYC 2021!
