J-Novel Club is going to be Boys’ Love fans Knight in Shining Armor, because they’ve announced at MCM Comic Con in London that they’re launching a new Boys’ Love imprint, “Knight,” which will publish both BL manga and light novel series! The new imprint will debut in 2025 with new series available to read digitally on J-Novel Club’s website and app and distributed wherever ebooks are sold. Knight adds to the portfolio of J-Novel Club’s other imprints, including Club (shonen), Heart (shojo), and Pulp (pulp), though the name deviates a bit from the French-suited card-deck theme of the other imprints, but hey, it’s a cool name so we’ll take it!

(October 25 , 2024) – J-Novel Club LLC (JNC) announced the launch of its new Boys’
Love (BL) imprint at MCM Comic Con in London today. The new line, called “Knight”,
will feature both manga and light novel series. “BL” is a popular genre with narratives
centering male/male romance in Japan, which recently has been expanding its

JNC Knight will be J-Novel Club’s first venture into Boys’ Love, expanding its
extensive collection of over 350 titles. Access to titles will be available with no
additional costs to J-Novel Club subscribers, and for premium subscribers, they will
have access to parts as soon as they are translated. eBooks will be offered on all
major platforms for purchase.

In addition to the imprint, JNC has launched all new socials around the line, where
they will be announcing newly licensed series, hosting giveaways, hosting translated
