San Diego, CA (March 9, 2024): Anime Trending is pleased to announce Tengoku-Daimakyo as Anime of the Year at the 10th Anime Trending Awards. Alongside the riveting post-apocalyptic series, the winners for the other 29 categories were also revealed (see full list below).
During the awards ceremony, industry members reacted to the various awards and shared their feelings to fans in a variety of ways. Video comments were revealed from Tengoku-Daimakyo’s director Hirotaka Mori, My Happy Marriage’s director Takehiro Kubota, and Vinland Saga’s composer Yamada Yutaka. Meanwhile, a majority of the text comments were from 【OSHI NO KO】’s staff and production team, such as from director Daisuke Hiramaki, scriptwriter Jin Tanaka, character designer Kanna Hirayama, singer YOASOBI, and voice actress Megumi Han.
The remaining industry text comments came from The Eminence in Shadow’s voice actor Seiichiro Yamashita, The Dangers in My Heart’s director Hiroaki Akagi and producer Kazuki Endo.
