On this episode of Manga Mavericks, we’re releasing a compilation of our thoughts over the years on Gengoroh Tagame’s My Brother’s Husband! A story about a single father who has to face his internalized prejudices in order to accept certain members of his family for who they are. The first discussion comes from Episode 35 of the podcast when we went over our first impressions of the series with Pantheon’s release of the first volume back in 2017, with the second discussion being the bonus podcast we released on our Patreon covering the rest of the series three years later in 2020! Our good friend, Maxy Barnard of Friendship Effort Victory and Shonen Flop joined us for both podcasts! We three, along with the podcast, may have changed a lot in the past five years altogether, but our love for My Brother’s Husband certainly has not! Join us next week as we review Gengoroh Tagame’s Our Colors with special guest and translator of the series, Anne Ishi!!
