The Tomorrows #2

It feels as though it might still be too early to know exactly where this book is headed or what to expect next time. However, Pires has certainly presented two strong issues thus far. Hopefully next month The Tomorrows will begin to take shape.

Rumble #6

However, Rumble #6 is not only a very well made chapter, but it also functions as a great jumping on point for anyone not currently reading the series. An excellent balance of regrouping and looking forward, this is certainly worth picking up.

Roche Limit Clandestiny #4

There is no question that the second volume of Roche Limit is quite different from the first. That being said, the continued universe and spirit of the series definitely is present across the two arcs.

Ragnarok #6

This series is proof that some people just get better with age. Simonson? The man still has it. Martin? Even just the colors are worth the price of admission. Plus, everything is so metal.

Cyborg #2

What’s so heartbreaking about the Cyborg comic is how hard it’s trying to be more than it is. It desperately wants to be a comic about character and people more than action or sci-fi concepts, but it all falls completely flat.

Over the Garden Wall #1

Younger readers who liked the show will probably still find something to enjoy in this comic adaptation, though the absence of Greg’s comedy and weirdness will be a big let down.
