Chapter 12 of Platinum End is the most compelling to date. It finally feels like Platinum End is developing into its own thing rather than a haphazardly cobbled together manga of different titles.
Ultimately this chapter was a satisfying read. The cast was given some much needed development; character development and tension are areas the series truly excels at.
Chapter six marks a significant improvement over most of the previous chapters, save for the pilot, as the series seems to have more of a direction and identity now that the events at the stadium are in the past.
