That sound you hear is the sound of a million eyeballs turning into hearts and popping out of people’s heads. Yes, it’s true, Internet darling and undeniable charming as all hell mega-hunk Poe Dameron is getting his own Marvel comic series written by Charles Soule with art by Phil Noto. That’s…well, that’s actually pretty perfect, no? With both creators already having success and familiarity in the Marvel Star Wars Universe (with Lando and Chewbacca, respectively) this new series focusing on the lead-up to Poe’s first appearance on Jakku in The Force Awakens is in pretty capable hands. Per USA Today, Soule and Noto are planning on digging deeper into the world of The Force Awakens while adding depth to Poe’s personality. Oh, and don’t worry, BB-8 is co-starring. Superstar creators Charles Soule (Lando, Obi-Wan and Anakin) and Phil Noto (Chewbacca) take you to a galaxy far, far away for the new adventures of Poe Dameron – former Republic flyer turned Resistance fighter and the best pilot in the galaxy!
