This Festival Really Ties the Room Together. It’s the First-Ever ID10T Music Festival & Comic Conival
Look! Out in the Valley! It’s a confederacy of dunces! It’s a mob of maladroits! No, it’s ID10TFest!
With what looks like one of those strokes of genius that’s so obvious, it’s amazing no one’s done it before, Chris Hardwick is bringing a brand new festival combining music, comedy, comics, and more to Silicon Valley this June 24th and 25th! This one of a kind event will be held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA and will feature three performance stages, huge exhibitor village, and an artists’ alley featuring some comicdom’s biggest names and fan favorites. What’s that, you think we’re lying that all of this could exist in one place? Well, firstly, that’s very hurtful, but also shut your mouth because we speak only truths!
We here at All-Comic are definitely excited about the prospects of combing so many of our favorite things (i.e. comics, Demetri Martin, Weezer) into one event. The comic creator and publisher’s attending are a murderers’ row of big names, including what might be Rick Remender’s only convention appearance all year. Say what you will about Hardwick, but that dude has the energy of a spider monkey and genuinely loves bringing cool things together. Want to attend a live recording of the insanely popular Nerdist podcast? No problem. Mingle with cosplayers while digging those dulcet tones of TV On The Radio and OK Go? Boom, done. Laugh at the sweet comedy stylings of Nikki Glaser while perusing which Funko to add to your collection? Easy. Buy some original art, chat with Becky Cloonan, check out what shoes Ramon Villalobos is rocking? All of this can literally happen. It’s wild.
Check out the full line-up of all the attendees below in the official press release including ticket information and venue maps. And there came a day unlike any other, when earth’s mightiest nerds were united in general chillness! On that day ID10TFest was born!
