In this week’s special bonus episode we run down the results of our first annual survey! We discuss the statistics and what you guys like most about the show, as well as suggestions on how to improve it moving forward. Additionally, to make for a belated Valentine’s Day special, Colton reads all of Love Rush and shares his ambivalent opinions of it while LumRanmaYasha and Maxy’s opinions argue why Love Rush was an underrated gem canceled long before it’s time.

To make good on some of the suggestions you guys made in the survey, we’re going to announce some plans for the show we have in store in the weeks ahead! On next week’s regular episode we’re discussing To Your Eternity, the latest series from A Silent Voice mangaka Yoshitoki Oima, alongside the most recent Jump Starts We Never Learn and U19 as well as Naoshi Komi’s recent one-shot Tokidoki. Then for our first show of March, we’re finally having our Weekly Shonen Sunday discussion with previous guest and friend of the show Bomber D Rufi, who has recently started a blog reviewing the latest issues of the magazine as well as his favorite currently-running Sunday manga series Saike Once Again. Plus, we’ve got a special Skip Beat! retrospective coming up featuring Ann Yamamoto of Pied Piper Inc., celebrating the series’ 15th anniversary and the upcoming home video release of the anime (dubbed!) in North America. Also expect Black Clover and My Hero Academia discussions, a Toonami 20th anniversary retrospective, and Movie Mavericks reviews of Sailor Moon R: The Promise of the Rose, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions, The Red Turtle, Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale, Ghost in the Shell (both the 1995 original and the upcoming live-action film) all coming very soon! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! We’ve got a lot of exciting plans for the show this year that we’re still getting arranged, and we’ll be making good on a lot of your suggestions from the survey so keep an eye out and your ears open!

Update: Every volume of Love Rush is now available for purchase digitallyas well as available to read for $2 on Shonen Jump!
