On this episode of Manga Mavericks, after being delayed for three weeks, its finally time to talk some My Hero Academia! Colton and Lum discuss their experiences seeing My Hero Academia: Two Heroes in theaters, with Maxy Barnard of Friendship Effort Victory listening and becoming increasing jealous of the American cinema and their giant pretzels and nostalgic throwback screenings. Other topics of discussion include our thoughts on the All Might Rising prequel chapter, the blatant movie advertisement that is Episode 58 of the anime, as well as our thoughts on the English dub of the anime. Enjoy!

About The Author Colton Solem

Colton is just your regular glasses wearing nerd residing in Saint Louis, Misery (that's a joke) who loves reading and collecting manga as a hobby and also records too many podcasts! He started off his podcasting escapades in 2013 when he created Life Lessons: The Gintama Manga Cast, which is dedicated to Gintama and its past English release of the manga. From there he became the co-host of shows such as the Manga Corner from Anime3000, Heavenly Kings, One Podcast Prevails and many more. Colton first discovered manga back in 2006 when he bought his first issue of Shonen Jump, and ever since then, his love and passion for manga took off from there! His favorite titles include One Piece, Eyeshield 21, My Hero Academia and much, much more. Oh yeah, guess he likes anime as well (but truth be told didn't know what it actually was until about 2007). Colton can be found frequenting sites such as MyAnimeList and Twitter under the handle of sniperking323.
