STEVEN UNIVERSE: HARMONY #1

Discover A New Adventure For Steven and The Crystal Gems in August 2018

BOOM! Studios and Cartoon Network today revealed a first look at STEVEN UNIVERSE: HARMONY #1, kicking off an all-new five issue limited series from writer S.M. Vidaurri (Iron) and artist Mollie Rose (Weeds) inspired by the world of the Emmy® Award-nominated Cartoon Network animated series Steven Universe. As Steven helps Sadie cope with quitting her job at the Big Donut and losing Lars, Steven and the Gems must work together to deactivate an old Diamond Authority artifact called the Harmony Core before it destroys Earth.

“Steven and the Crystal Gems thought the Gem War was a thing of the past and well…they were really, really wrong,” said Matthew Levine, Editor, BOOM! Studios. “STEVEN UNIVERSE: HARMONY is going to bring new headaches and challenges for our heroes, along with all the trademark, heart, humor and adventure you’ve come to expect!”

STEVEN UNIVERSE: HARMONY #1 features a main cover by Marguerite Sauvage (Faith), along with variant covers by Savanna Ganucheau (Lumberjanes) and Veronica Fish (SLAM!). Each issue will be formatted in a special 8”x8”.

STEVEN UNIVERSE: HARMONY is the latest release from BOOM! Studios’ award-winning KaBOOM! imprint, home to comics for middle grade and younger readers including licensed series such as Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Peanuts, and Garfield, along with original series like Mega Princess by Kelly Thompson and  Brianne Drouhard, Bodie Troll by Jay Fosgitt, Ruinworld by Derek Laufman, and The Deep by Tom Taylor and James Brouwer.
