vinland review image 1According to a recent reply from the official Kodansha USA Twitter account and thanks (but no thanks) to our very own Ian Stephen for pointing it out, the English collection of Vinland Saga has been suspended and removed from retailer pre-order lists and the reason behind it is being kept quiet.

Since the beginning of it’s publication, Vinland Saga has been a hit. Combining intense Manga action with Viking mythology, utterly insane battle sequences and amazing characters, Makoto Yukimura’s Vinland Saga hits all the right notes. It might even be considered the main catalyst for converting me into a fan of Manga and opening my eyes to some of the fantastic series that are out there.

If you can get your hands on copies of the first five volumes, do so because you won’t be disappointed. Pick them up, devour them and let Kodansha know that you need more of it.

Need more convincing? You can check out our reviews for Book One and Book Two.
