Manga Mavericks has lasted an entire year! We’ve done so much in such a short time, and we couldn’t have done it without your support! Thank you for listening and giving feedback on our podcasts. We have great things planned for 2017 as well, so stay tuned and stick around for what we’ve got in store! In the meantime, we’ve set up a year-end poll for you guys to take to gather some statistics and help us make the show better. Included are questions asking for your guys’ opinions on future topics and guests we should have on the show, so please take the poll and give us some suggestions! Once again, though, we want to thank you guys for listening to our show and overall being awesome. And now, to end 2016 with a bang!

2016 was not a great year for life, but it was a great year for manga! So this week your titular Mavericks Colton and Sid list off their favorite things from manga in 2016, from news, to new licenses, to the best currently running series and best series finale! But first we have to round off the year with a whole heap of news, including Oricon’s best selling manga of 2016 list, Diamond’s Top 30 GNs of November 2016 list, the smorgasbord of new manga coming out next year, the big plans for One Piece next year, and of course, the most important bit of news, the new Dragon Ball spinoff manga where Yamcha is the main character. Yes, that Yamcha. So while you can argue 2016 was one of the worst years in human history, but no one can deny that it was one hell of an awesome year in manga, and today we’re going to celebrate it one last time.
