Aquaman: Rebirth #1

…AQUAMAN is still hard to recommend to anyone other than huge fans. If you don’t like the character, this comic is not going to convince you otherwise.

The Flash: Rebirth #1

The Flash: Rebirth #1 was a fun read that had decent art in it. Joshua Williamson gave readers an interesting first issue that should get fans coming back.

Detective Comics #934

Detective Comics is off to a great start. Tynion IV has always had a knack for writing secondary Gotham characters, so this is obviously where he should be. With the current art team, this series has a lot going for it.

4001 A.D.: Bloodshot #1

4001 A.D.: Bloodshot #1 is an entertaining and deeply satisfying story. This is a great companion piece to this summer’s 4001 event and to the mythos surrounding Bloodshot… Beautifully illustrated and colored, this book will be a standout in the series.

The Walking Dead #155

The Walking Dead #155 continues the thrills and excitement this comic is known for. With the upcoming events that are sure to bring some loss of life it is wise to start getting caught up now before any spoilers come out.

Cryptocracy #1

By Van Jensen and Pete Woods For a book about secrets, there’s little left to mystery as Van Jensen (The Flash) and Pete Woods (Deadpool)…

Green Lanterns Rebirth #1

Green Lanterns Rebirth #1 was a pretty good read. It probably won’t blow you away or floor you, but it should absolutely get you interested in what is going to happen next.

Superman: Rebirth #1

Superman: Rebirth #1 is not perfect, but it’s not awful either. Tomasi has already shown that he’s able to write a compelling Superman and no amount of nostalgia cash-grabs is going to change that. The upcoming Superman #1 will hopefully be a more proper start.
